Please refer to your browser instructions or to www.aboutcookies.org or www.allaboutcookies.org to learn more about how to adjust or modify your browser settings.

If you choose not to accept cookies, this may impair the usability of the Website and you may not be able to take advantage of some of our features and services offered.

5.3 Use of Google Analytics

This Website uses Google Analytics ("Google Analytics"), a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help us analyze how Users use our Website, including the number of visitors to our Website, the websites our visitors have come from, and the pages they visit. This information is used by us to improve our Website offer and services. As a rule, any information generated by the cookie about your use of our Website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Since this Website has implemented the IP-anonymization functionality offered by Google, your IP address will, before being transferred to the US, be shortened by Google within the Member States of the European Union or in other contractual states of the Treaty on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases your full IP address will be transferred to a server of Google in the US and be shortened there.

Google will use this information as our commissioned data processor to help us evaluate the use of our Website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other statistical and analytical services relating to usage of our Website. As an alternative to installing the browser-plugin, or in case you use our Website with browsers on mobile devices, you can also opt-out of being tracked by Google Analytics if you click on the following opt-out link: Opt-out of Google Analytics Tracking.

In this case, an opt-out cookie will be placed on your browser that prevents any further tracking of your use of this Website by Google Analytics. 6. SOCIAL MEDIA FEATURES

TIET uses several social media plugins and applications from different providers. TIET does not have control over the storage and use of any information collected by such providers and does not have any access to the information collected. Please read the privacy policy of the respective providers before you decide to use any of the features.

6.1. Facebook Plugin

This Website uses the Facebook Like Button ("Like Button"), a social media plugin operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The Like Button allows Users to share content on our Website more easily through the social network facebook.com. To protect your privacy, we have implemented a two-click solution. If you have a Facebook account and are logged in with your account, Facebook will further be in a position to attribute the information directly to your name and Facebook account (irrespective of whether you decide to further interact with the Like Button or not). With your second click on the activated Like Button, further information about such use will be transmitted to and stored by Facebook, and the respective webpage of our Website will be linked with your Facebook account site. Such information may be published in your profile and/or your timeline.

Facebook's privacy policy, and your choices in respect of your privacy, can be found here.

Note that if you have activated the social plugin on any of our webpages, the functionality will also be active on other webpages of our Website which have implemented the Like Button. This means you can either activate or deactivate the services altogether for all webpages of our Website.

6.2 YouTube

Our Website also embeds videos provided by YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave. San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (“YouTube”). Using YouTube’s offering requires a connection to be established to YouTube’s servers in the US. During this process, certain information is transmitted to YouTube. For all YouTube videos embedded in our Website we have enabled the Privacy-enhanced mode offered by YouTube. This means that YouTube stores information about a visitor to our Website only if he or she chooses to play an embedded video.

Further information about how your data are collected and used by YouTube and your rights in relation to this can be found in YouTube's privacy policy at www.youtube.com.
